Driven. The one word I would use describe Man At Arms Scotts, Driven. I cannot state enough this young strives for perfection in all he does, be it work, physical conditioning, academics, or even his relationships with his comrades. This drive for perfection makes him an ideal officer candidate especially for Systems Officer Training.
Many discount Arion at first glance as just another muscle head who spends too much time at the gym. Though he does spend more time slinging the weights than anyone else on the crew, his mind is just as fit, if not more so, than his impressive physical form. His ability to talk people down has allowed him to defuse many situations that otherwise would have resulted in physical altercations. That same ability has translated well into his psychology studies which he has but to good use as our ship’s unofficial counselor.
In terms of combat ability, he is a first rate Man at Arms. He knows and tends to his equipment well, and his hand to hand combat ability is first rate. Hand him a battle ax or a broadsword and he would be right at home in the barbarian warrior holovids he enjoys so much.
Had Arion not applied for the Space Forces Academy I could see him taking a civilian role as a counselor or psychologist. I would not recommend him for further guild service however; he is far too sociable a person to remain on small, long range vessels, despite what his brooding demeanor might make one think.

In the wake of the incident at Garov 18965 I am requesting that the following personnel have their academy applications forwarded to Special Operations Command: Schan Vaughnt, Arion Scotts, Eggedon Bichard, Deniv Prain. This team showed exceptional courage under fire in a situation that they had to training or preparation for, saving all but one member of my crew. I do not blame them for this, but certainly feel that the Mapper’s Guild is not the place for these young men, and that Special Operations Command has the best opportunity to use their skills.
