When most people first hear the name Gavit Markus, they picture this suave playboy areoracer. That is just his public personna. While Gavit lives and breaths to fly and get his hands all over any fighter that lands on our decks, that is where the stereotype ends. He is actually quite deep and while he is rumored to have dated many aboard the ship, most I have spoken to reveal that most dates end with philosophical conversation. That is not to say he is asexual, he is anything but and the stories that come out of his leaves reveal his omnisexual appetites.
Gavit had an almost unntaural idolization of his deceased uncle, Toran Markus. And from what his races and maintenance check flights have shown, may even rival the former Ace of Aces in skill. The incident at the Kendrick canyon races should prove ample evidence of that, and of his ingenuity. He earned those kills and saved the lives of countless civilians that cycle, that he wasn’t awarded an official fleet accolades is a shame.
His ingenuity at Kendrick is also why I am recommending him for Special Operations Command, with the concurrence of Commander Delkin. Though his hand to hand and armed combat prowess may not be up to the standards of SOC, I am confident that he could be taught the skills without additional effort.
