Jerlin-
My second offering to your Special Operations Cadet Corp is everything you typically look for. A capable Maintenance Chief, Seri Amare started out in the infantry, and by all reports was a ruthless marksman. She is also a born leader and has kept every craft in her squadron flying with greater efficiency than even some more experienced chiefs. I’m going to hate to lose her, but she belongs leading an ops team or a full maintenance deck.
Seri has been a leader her whole life even from her youth on the Sojourner Colony. She could have joined the academy annura ago, but chose to remain in enlisted service longer. She intimidates many of my junior officers, and with good reason. Any team placed under her is bound to excel. If she brings the same level of skill, strength, and ruthlessness she displays in her duties here to Special Operations you’ll have a winning squad in no time.
Something to watch for however, she is not of a competitive nature. Given the level of competition between teams and squadrons at the academies this could be a detriment or an asset. I’ll leave that to you to decide. She is also an excellent mentor who encourages those under her to better themselves, sometimes at her own expense.
