Jerlin-
That you made Admiral still amazes me, that this young Drashig might rewrite the texts on warfare won’t amaze me at all. I’ve actually got three candidates for your Special Operations program now old friend and this is the one I will catch the most flak from my officers about. Gokhead is a straight up genius, and it only took me about half a pulse to realize that upon meeting him. I’ve even played multiple strategy games against him, at first anonymously, and he can see through most of what I do, he’s that good. By now you’ve familiarized yourself with the Kilhath incident and I’m sure have begun to craft combat scenarios around it. This kid is the one that made that happen. No other analyst or computer aboard has been able to track just how he did it, but he shut that Geffer destroyer down, venting plasma into nearly every Hyper-Plaser turret stanchion in the process.
He does all of this without the arrogance one would expect from someone of his intelligence. He’s humble to a fault at times, but I don’t see much leadership potential in him, maybe you can mine that out. If you question why he is destined for Special Operations, don’t. After the Kilhath he joined two of our onboard Special Operations teams on missions, his ability to weave into Geffer computes made him a highly desired asset. If the kid weren’t so dedicated to the Space Forces, to the point that he practically dropped out of college to join I’d swear he was a spy. The background checks turned up nothing however, he’s just that good, though some think he might be part machine, who knows anymore.
Give him a gun or a computer and he’s deadly. Put him in a Special Ops team and insert him behind enemy lines and he’ll win this war for us in less than a decade. Don’t ask me how, but he will. But don’t let him near those new toys you’ve been going on about, if he manages to weave his way in there he’ll turn himself into a god.
